hello,

I am in the same boat as your BF... I hate Vday, I think it's so stupid because it's just a way for retailers to make more money... do I really need A DAY to get roses, some gifts, and chocolate? I personaly prefer it much more when my BF does these things out side of an inforced ocassion... that means a lot more to me than if it's done on Vday... but anyway, enough about my opinion...i know that there are many ppl that look forward to Vday and there's nothing wrong with that.. just tell him how you're not expecting much but it doesn't have to be black or white... the grey area in between to keep both sides happy will be a small dinner, so this way since Vday means a lot to you you get to have your night with your bf, and since he hates it, he doesn't have to go all out to impress you or make a bold statement... it's just a dinner!

This guy has you beat. Valentines Day is for girls. Guys don't like celebrating it. However, he should know it is for you and do something minor. Chances are "He's just not that into you".

If he has ever had a long relationship before, he would know what to do. Flowers and dessert is a simple thing to do the dummy.

If he isn't that into you don't be hurt, chances are that you are everything that his is looking for you've just been too much of a pushover. He will take this to the point where he will lose respect for you and eventually move on.

It's time for you to start going out with your friends. Maybe even get guys phone numbers and sit on them until things start going better. Chances are your boyfriend will come around if you start becoming that available cute chick that he chased in the beginning.

I suggest buying the book called "He's Just Not That Into You" ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&keywords=He%27s%20just%20not%20that%20into%20you&tag=thinkbling-20&index=books&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325 ). Leave that out where he can find it and see what he has to say. If he doesn't say anything, he's looking to end the relationship but is to weak to actually do it himself.

Well did you guys celebrate it last year since you've been together so long? If you guys have been going out for a year and a half you should be able to talk about it. Say that just being with him is fine nothing special.

Don't make him anything. He won't appreciate it.
