turkish women hv to obey theirs men? men controling women and don;t let them on everything. yes off course. just i ask how deep it goes. if i marry turkish man i will not hv any rights for doing things which i like or something? are turkish women happy with their housbands? would rather turkish women's asnwer in that case... thanks. just wondering, don;t blame anybody.

i dont know why you keep asking these questions. i wont give any no more specific answer so that you asked this question to turkish women. but this stuff is not so different in turkiye compared to england or the usa. just come to turkiye and see yourself.

It is not an issue only in Turkey. I live in the States and I have a friend who is controlled by his American husband and she is suffocated too much and he abuses her physically and threatens her if she leaves him. She wanted help from me. So It is not the issue only in Turkey. These kind of people are everywhere in the world. Some of them are really nice people and there are ones who are controlling. So that is the general in each country I guess.

It depends on the man not so much of the nationality, you must get to know the person before marring..date with him for a long time or have a long engagement :o)..Choose someone whom you share similar out look in life..
As I've had Turkish and British boy friends I would say they were both controlling equal amount and actually found the British men somewhat more jealous..But then again I can't generalise just because I have experienced it this way..
All I would suggest is that get to know the guy before entering something serious like marriage

that's not true!!! turkey is a modern country where men and woman have the same rights so that's not true in general. in our villages ,because of our woman's respect to their husband,they obey their partner, this is our culture in VILLAGES. and you are not forced to do anything by your husband
