The correct answer is the egg because dinosaurs were laying eggs millions of years before chickens evolved.... but as this questions is in the jokes section i cant think of anything funny.

dis arguement anoys me so much, i dnt understand how ppl think its the egg when it was so obviously the chicken. 1 becoz if the egg came first then there woyld b no species of chickens coz it would have died an 2 we all know that man was on earth b4 a baby, overwise humans would not b around asswell

Repeated question, again and again and again. If you look up the question you will see it is asked almost everyday. Neither came first. Evolution played a big part. Fish laid eggs before man came along, and as those fish came on land, so did the ability to lay eggs. Simple.
