of past intimacy between the two of you, yet he already has another girlfriend who he claims to love...what does this mean? and if he loved his girlfriend then why even think about me?

I have no intentions of wanting him back, EVER! I was spurned once but not again, I was just curious......

He is probably not getting enough sex from his present girlfriend, and is trying to score with your friend (assuming the friend is female).

Most men by nature want to have "relations" with more than one woman. Movies and TV are to blame for this misconception. For most men, if they find the right person and are head over heels, then this urge dwindles (although does not disappear).

By this guy "thinking" about you, he is reliving the good points and is probably thinking about thing more ideally than they really occurred.

He definitely would "hook-up" with you given the chance although would not if he thought he would be caught.

There is also a slim chance that he actually does think well about you and wants people to see him as a "good guy". Odds are however that he wants to easily make you swoon, have a poke and then leave to never talk to you again until months down the road when he will try to repeat it.

Expect a phone call in a few weeks. He will play it off as he is just "Checking up" to make sure you are "alright".

It is possible to love more than one woman. A part of me still loves all the women I loved in the past. That does not mean I would be able to forget the pain they caused me in breaking up but that love is still there. Any strong enough emotion burns it's imprint into your soul. Memories of love are mixed with those of pain but the love is still there.

Your ex is "trolling" for another round with you and your friend is being used to pass the word along, just in case you still haven't had enough. You should let his current girlfriend know about such indiscretions...

It is called an inferiority complex, usually. However, hindsight is 20/20. Maybe he is just now realizing what a great piece of GF you were. That or you were the mad note in the sack!

most people have some feelings for old flames, it could mean anything, that he regrets breaking up with you. that he wants you back. or just a moment of thinking of you,
