He's an inconsiderate fat slob who eats 4 times a day while at work and talks to everyone, even customers on the phone, with his mouth full. I hate him.

Oh, I get it. Because he has no manners, fouls up the place, talks to people with food in his mouth, I am discriminating against him. Yeah, I get it.

Buy a can of that fart spray and spray it underneath his desk every time he eats.

If you have an open electrical outlet, buy a small air cleaner, plug it in, and turn it on every day when you come in.

You shouldn't do anything TO him, or you could be looking at being fired and/or jail time. Your description of him already shows that you are discriminating against him and that could get you into a lot of trouble. Maybe you just find you another job.

If there is a chance to move to another cubicle, let your boss know you would like to be considered for that and if they ask you why, be nice.. Just explain that you have a sensitive nose and the food smells bother you in that area.

I used to work with a girl who brought fish and cabbage to work and warmed it up in the microwave (sending stink waves everywhere in the office) and then eat it at her desk. She also was a health "nut" and ate garlic by the tubs. Sometimes it would just reek and it would make me gag. So, I got some bleach wipes, and when she started heating up her fish - I would put out the bleach wipes and "disinfect my desk, my phone, etc." The bleach was a better smell than her food.

Then I finally brought a big bottle of Lysol (the nasty original scent) and sprayed that all over the office when she started heating up her fish and cabbage. She flipped out, and so I finally told her - I can't take the stinky food any more. So - she finally compromised. She heats up her food in another department (at a hospital), and eats it outside. Yay!!!!!!

Okay,

You can't stop him from eating four times a day--that's his colon he's killing. But if you happen to speak to customers who he has spoken with in the past, you can let them voice THEIR complaints about his gross and unprofessional behavior to a supervisor.

Also, a few anonymous calls to human resources (badger them if necessary) regarding his disruptively smelly food should get them going, even if they just stop by and give him a polite verbal warning.

Be prepared to lie, however, when he asked if it was you who snitched to HR.

Also, a dozen bottles of air-fresher (the $1 kind) can be handed out to a dozen of your fellow office allies. An occasional, obvious spray in his direction from a number of different people should help Mr. Slob get the hint.

If you say anything to him you will look like the asshole. Be very careful about how you conduct yourself in the workplace.

Your best approach is to keep your mouth shut, get a small air freshener to dull the smell and ignore his existence.

Sounds like a personal problem to me. But if you really must do something, try spraying air spray, or deodorizer in his general direction while hes eating. Of course that could get you beat up, or fired.

That's not very professional or considerate of others around him. I would ask him to please be considerate of the strong smell and to eat in the break room or some where other than his desk and if problem persists report him to his superior chances are ur not the only one who's complained.

You should talk to your supervisor. Let him/her deal with it.
I am a supervisor and had 4 stinky people I had to talk to and straighten out regarding thier hygiene, professional appearance, and maintenance of thier work space.

Keep a low profile. It's probably bothering someone else just as much.
