The typical graduate student needs some form of financial aid whether it is scholarships or loans. The FAFSA form will be based on your income and resources instead of your parents' information. There are no government grants at the graduate school level, so it will be loans. An idea is to apply for outside scholarship programs and if you can, get involved in the research assistant or graduate assistant programs.
