DONT TOUCH IT!LEAVE IT ALONE!
now that i've got ur attention, this came up a few weeks ago in our street.young boy plays rugby and cut his head whilst playing and they used vaseline to stop the bleeding so he could carry on playing.i was gonna go down the road of wash it with this or that but was told that the best thing was to just let it dry.it will take a day maybe bit longer but once its dry apparently u can brush most of it out and then wash accordingly.
hope this helps!!

I'm pretty sure vasaline is water soluable, so it should come out with some mild shampoo and warm water, if you have to, use a soft brush to help get the clumps out.

Mild soap or shampoo will work. Might take a couple of washes.

Mix it with oil, it'll soften and liquify the vaseline and make it easier to shampoo out.

If the kid will let you use a blowdryer. It'll melt the vasaline that you can't wipe or wash out.
