My close friend has a boyfriend who is 19, can't drive, and doesn't have a high school education. They've been on and off for a while now since their one year anniversay. He called Saturday and wanted to get back together. So she went to his house, they had sex (for the first time, was a virgin) and then 10 MINUTES later they were broke up again!!! She had an anxiety attack at school today because of him. They had to call 911 because she passed out in the hallway. I went to her and tryed to get her to calm down so that her pulse would slow up. She calmed down and I took her to lunch and she told me this. I'm furious!!! I've tryed to tell her to forget about him. I know you can't help who you love, but give me a break! What do I tell her??? How do I knock some sense into her?

To tell you the truth Im not sure the best way to knock this into her as well. I think you to should go out and meet some new people, I think the way she gets treated she should leave him behind. Its not worth it in that kinda of relationship and theres alot of guys out there. Maybe go out with here to someplace and meet some new guys, Im sure when she finds someone shes interested in she'll forget about him! A lady needs to be treated nice.

This is a very touchy subject and if you come at her to hard about it than she may be mad at you. My best friend was in a similar situation but her baby's dad was cheating on her and I saw him when I told her she said that I was a liar and we did not talk for 6mo. It has been a year and a half and we are just getting close again and she just left him finally. so be very cautious how you approach the situation and try not to be to hard on her.

Well first off, she took the beak up too hard. She amy have some slef esteem issues. Secondly, yes she should leave him. But let me add this. why do you mention the fact he can't drive in your list of cons? Whats the big deal? Does he have a job?

you cant really knock sense into people in loe especially if they have oher issues going on and their a bit needy for love and affection. its frustrating as a friend but at the end of the day she needs to work it out for herself or it will cause problems with your friendship.

You'll never be able to do it. And if you do you need to let me know how! People always think they know whats best for them, I say we should all have 1 friend who we listen to no matter what, one who we can trust and won't lie to us.
