Marinate overnight in a mixture of olive oil, worchestershire sauce and pepper, then sprinkle Montreal Steak seasoning on both sides, sear on the grill on both sides, then cook over low until medium. Just a bit of pink in the middle...so tender!

Medium Rare to Medium...

I often ask for Medium-Rare and it'll come out closer to Medium.
Cooking a good steak to medium-well to well... you're drying out the steak, losing a lot of flavor and toughening up the meat.

The concerns with salmonella or other food illnesses are not a problem with steak, since those bacteria are mainly on the surface, which is subjected to cooking temperatures.

I like my steak still pink in the middle, often that is medium rare at resturants and such, but it differs from place to place.

well done, and i perfer it smothered in brown gravey and mushrooms and onions..........i could never eat my steak medium rare or red in the inside , if you dont cook your food properly bacteria still lives in the food and that means you are most likely to catch germ causeing diseases,,,, so thats why i always eat my steaks well done.

I like it medium well because i don't like it burnt, but I don't want it bloody either, so it's a nice middle ground for a tasty and safe to consume steak.
