bite the bullet and get through school, don't quit, no matter what. You didn't say why you are living with your brother, where are your parents? going to a new school is depressing, we all hated it, everyone looks at you funny for being the new kid. Just remember this-you are the best looking, the nicest, the most intelligent person there is and all these people staring at you are jealous. You really are very intelligent, because you have noticed a problem early and you reconized it. You ask for help, go to the school counselor, tell him or her, you have to talk to them today. Don't ever give up, fight, you are worth it.

let me first start off by telling you that you are not alone. many ppl are depressed, especially at your age. however, you do have a couple of options: 1) you can always go to your brother and tell him that you've been feeling down and that you want to talk to someone about it. 2) try to counsel yourself. maybe figure out what exactly in your life is making you depressed. if it's the ppl. you hang around with, get a new social scene. 3) find someone, even if they aren't a professional to confide in. above all else, remember that whatever is making you feel depressed, this is only one small part of your whole life. don't give up. things will get better.

perhaps try confiding in a teacher in school about your problems, they may be able to offer advice, get you an appointment with a counsellor and may also cut you some slack in your work. The school counsellor is there for a reason, they will make time for you if you go to see them. Also try visiting your doctor...you may not be depressed but are just finding life abit tough with the move and need someone to talk to.good luck pet!

You could ride the city bus to a councilor. Why are you depressed if you have so much to look forward to at 18 yrs old. You could set up goals for yourself to keep yourself motivated. Make yourself a goals journal to track your progress. You could set goals like: work on bringing grades up and study for driving test, things like that. Also, you could start a new hobby that might make you feel happier. Try making beaded jewelry or sewing clothes. You could make something for all your friends. That could cheer you up. Good Luck! I hope everything gets better for you. :-)

You should see a mental health doctor, if you can't look in you phone book for a hot line for this type of problem so you can talk to someone. DON'T TAkE MEDICINE'S MEANT FOR SOMEONE ELSE, THE MEDS ARE VERY POWERFUL AND NEED TO BE MONITORED BY A HEALTH CARE PRO.

your going to have to seek someone out. start by talking to your brother, maybe he can assist you in finding someone. don't assume the counselor is too busy. that is their job.
