I'm not sure what's wrong, Jessica. But it does sound pretty severe. Has the doctor suggested a treatment, or is he treating you? If not, find one who will.
Good luck and feel better!

Shingles can be caused from stress, and you seem to have more than your fair share of stress. Go to the doctor, and get yourself a check-up preferably a different one than the one who isn't taking you seriously, and find out what's going on. Your appendix could be the problem because it is accompanied by fever and the sensitivity you said you are having. If your doctor told you it could be a broken rib or shingles, and he didn't check to see what the problem was, he's part of the problem. You definitely have something going on, and you need a doctor who will listen and find out what's going on. Good luck.

OK, to me that sounds like a disease of some sort that originated from an injury. Especially if you have just recovered, or involved in rough physical activity, or took some medication with major, MAJOR side effects (which is unlikely unusual) Really, I think you should have a checkup fast and (no offense intended) your doctor really has to do something, or have you in physical examination. Hmm if not doctor, try the emergency room if any more sicknesses or pains comes along. I hate to say this, but I think that something is wrong, remain calm and have a good day, though :]

if you had acute appendicitis you would not be able to sit and write .
if it was infected or is still infected you would be having extreme pain,if the appendix bursts you can die within minutes of toxic shock.so i suggest you get it checked.
shingles is dermatomal rash caused by herpes zoster.you could have a compromised immune system.the neuralgia may intensify at night or be aggravated by clothes etc
poo sounds ok ,due to tartrazine or other food coloring.
suggest you get medical attention as shingles is indicated by a rash, similar to chickenpox.

you do not have shingles, which is caused by an inflammation, hypersensitivity to the nerve endings on skin cells. You would have broken out with a rash by now if it were shingles.
I am sorry I cannot be of further assistance.
good luck.

Shingles is a virus. Some call it the adult version of chicken pox. Very similar. It doesn't seem like shingles to me. I have no idea what it could be. Best wishes.
