I am looking to buy a good set of irons but I am torn between Ping G5Ls and TaylorMade r7s. Does anyone use either? I have tested the Ping G5Ls and liked them. I can't seem to find any store around here that has a set of Ladies r7s that I can try out.

You need to hit them all and have someone fit you. The one you can't live without is the one you should buy. Go to demo days and try them all

tell almost everyone that is looking for new irons to jut hit them for yourself to find out how well you like them, cuz your opinion is the only one that matters. i also recommend hit models that are a few years older and buy them used. i wish i would have i would have saved over $400. anyhow, Taylormade comes out with new products so much that their previous model can be found for incredible deal. i remember seeing a set of brand new RAC OS's for $299. It seems you're looking for a game improvement iron, so take a look at the Ping G2, Callaway X-18's, actually anything from Ping or Callaway are great. Also those TM Rac OS. trust me buy used and use that money u saved on lesson or to pay for rounds. Good luck.

I personally prefer the Taylormades for their feel and looks.

It comes down to how good you are and what you like. If you're a better golfer, the r7's are for you. The Pings are for slightly higher handicap golfers.

I like the Taylor made but that's a matter of opinion. You might look at ebay and find a set of used clubs, they have many brands to bid on at any given time at really good prices

I use the Ladies Idea set of hybrid irons. They are made by Adams Golf - and are the fastest selling clubs in the USA

I prefer King Cobra's, and they make a nice set of women's irons, as well.
