I have 3 months to find the right family in the right state.
I was hoping there might be a chatting site where I can talk with other about all of my concerns

I had a live in nanny. Make sure that your hours and days off are discussed before hand. If the baby crys in the middle of the night is it your responsibility or the mothers. Stuff like that. Also find out if there is house work involved or not. My nanny lived in. All of her meals were included but she cooked them. She also did the house work. So find out what your duties are other than child care. She became part of the family and it broke our hearts when her father died and she returned to her home. Be ready for emotional attachment.
Hope this helps,
Cari

I used to be a live in nanny. My main bit of advice is to pick a nice family that you are comfortable with. I lived with some stuck up witch and her lecher husband for a year. I LOVED the baby though. When I left my heart broke for missing her.

Please email me with your rates, your resume and your desired location. As for a website, I have no clue if there is one but if you check websites for agencies you may stumble on a link to a nanny site.
