Can't turn file into tiff in Illustrator CS -?

Get message: The combination of artwork size & resolution exceeds the maximum that can be rasterized.
I tried changing the setting. I need to set it at 200 dpi, only let me at 72 dpi. What do I do to fix it. And or what didn't I do.

Why do you want to save an Illustrator file as a .tif?
.tif is generally a Photoshop file format.

In any case....
Have you tried the EXPORT function?
Turn Anti-Alias off.
