At first she would only throw up her formula but now she throws up when breast fed, given water, and juice. She seems to be in pain but the ER said she was just "overeating". Even after following their advice and decreasing her servings it's still happening. I'm worried it may be serious, please help!

could be upper GI...pretty common the first year of the baby's life. you may need to change your diet if breastfeeding, if what you eat gives you an upset stomach, more than likely your baby is affected by it as well...not to say that this is the problem, just a possibility...

My son had the same problems, like when my wife would eat chocolate, it gave the boy some gas too when she was breastfeeding him! You might want to consult with a dietitian and see if they know anything more about these cases, if your nurse and doctor can't answer.

Good Luck! Hope the little girl will be alright soon!

Well, as long as the ER checked her out you don't have to worry about something very seriious (there's some kind of intestinal obstruction that very young babies can have, but I'm sure they would have checked that.) It may be she's allergic to something you're eating; cow's milk is a common one, so you might try cutting dairy out of your diet for a while. She could also have a virus (stomach bug), the same as an older child would - or she may just need to be burped more often and have smaller but more frequent feedings.

Could have a stomach flu... there's a mean one going around for 2 solid months... all around the country (too bad our media just reads off press releases & shows celeb photos etc., otherwise it might report on these things relating to public health).

Mine threw up a lot too - I switched his formula to the gentleease for tummy troubles. It seemed to work - but my dr advised adding a little cereal to the mix to help him keep it down. It really worked.

maybe she's eating too much too fast, or something in what she's eating is upsetting her, you might need to go all formula and try different kinds

there is a med out there that you can give them for gas, that might help, that pain that you see sounds like gas

What u can do is burp her when she's done eating. If u don't burp u her and put her to sleep she maight trow up. Just try to get the air out. If this continues take her to her peditrician.

Sounds serious. The first guess is bowel blockage. If stuff can't get on through, it goes bad and has to come back up.

Take her back to the hospital before she becomes dehydrated. Tell the doctor exactly what you said here, that you are worried.

Unless your baby is vomiting in Hebrew, I think you have posted in the wrong section... This is the "Languages" section...
