A plein-air landscape and still-life painter in realist and impressionist styles, Mary Ford was born as Mary Margaret McDonnell in Whittemore, Iowa, in 1945 and lives in San Diego, California. Her media are acrylic, egg tempera and colored pencil.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Painting from Briar Cliff University, IA, and a Master's Degree in Art History from University of Colorado, Boulder, CO.
