Anytime you nag someone you are convincing them, they don't want to be with you. No one wants to be with someone always fussing at them. If you have to convince someone they love you,,,they may not really love you. If he does love you,,he will show it.

So....you're waiting for lightening to strike, huh?! Do you realize what the chances are of that happening. You're boyfriend may be distant and cold, but I doubt your tactics are going to work. Your best bet would be to work on yourself, create an interesting life outside of this relationship and develop friendships that are supportive. You're going to need the support when you finally figure out that nothing is going to change. You can't manipulate someone into 'falling in love'.
