Im 11 ! I got a new cell phone for my birthday last year in April. It looks so old but it has super features. I get teased in school because people say its like a brick. I think its nice but I do want a new one!
My mum wont buy me one but I do have some money!!!

O.K. if you have you phone through a carrier like Sprint or something like that you can upgrade you phone for free sometimes. Check it out and let you mother know that you should upgrade you cell phones every year. Ask a Sprint agent they will tell you hte same thing.

give me a break. a cell phone is not a neccessity. contrary to what alot of young people think. be thankful you have one at all. parents are not just there to give you every little thing you want. and how would other kids know what kind of cell phone u have at school? u have no business taking it to school anyway. when u get a job and start paying your own bills then u might be able 2 choose when you get new things. parents have other bills and responsibilites to worry about. like rent, heat, car payment, groceries. so be thankful you have one at all. kids will always find one thing or another to tease you about. and most adults were teased in school for one thing or another, so it isnt just you.

Be happy you have one! It could be worse, imagine if your mom refused to get you a phone cause of your age, some parents are like that.-(anyways,I wish I had any kind of cellphone as a child or teen!) -just save your money.

listen to how you sound. your 11 and want a new phone. my daughter is 16, and knows that if she wants something like that she is going to go and buy it with her own money. my suggestion to you would be if you want a new phone, go out in buy it yourself. it will show your mother that you are a responsible person, and not a spoiled brat.

u should be happy u even have a cell phone I know so many kids ur age who dont even have a cell phone
I would take away ur phone for awhile till u can apperciate it cuz u obviously don't and don't deserve to have a cell phone to begin with

Get over it. If it works and you think it is nice than who care about what other people say. Your 11 and if you where my kid you wouldn't even have one at that age.
