Valentine's Day is one of those holidays where asking the subject of your affection what he/she wants takes the romance right out of it. It's the day when you express your own personal feelings for someone in your own special way. If you feel compelled to express it with flowers, candy (only if she's not on a diet), jewelry or just a card, be sure it's very personal and expresses exactly how you feel.

If she has to tell you what to get her for Valentines day... it takes all the "special" out of it. Just surprise her and she will love the thought.

Surprise her. With the exception of Birthday gifts, I think all gifts should be a surprise. Birthdays are special and they're only for that person.

Surprise her...I HATE to be asked what I want...if you are in a relationship and have been paying attention you will know what to get her for all occasions...believe me if a guy gets his girl ANYTHING on a gift giving occasion she will be pleased.

it depends on how well you know your girl friend? Some girls like to be surprised and some like to be asked... Why not ask her what her preference would be so no one will be disappointed......Have a nice V-Day

Suprise her, if you ask her then it makes her feel bad like you really don't want to get her something. Just buy her some roses, get her something nice, maybe a necklace or a braclet and make her dinner or take her to her favorite resturant.
