As a lifelong Catholic, I can assure you that "born again" is generally considered to be Protestant terminology. No Catholic I've ever met has run around using the phrase "born again" in the same way that certain types of evangelical Protestants do. And not all Protestants are comfortable with a constant usage of the "born again" phrase, either (for instance, most Episcopalians and Orthodox parishioners don't use it any more than the average Roman Catholic). Not that being born again is an idea that any Christian is against, but the term itself is so associated with Fundamentalism these days that many Christians refrain from using it, except in direct reference to Fundamentalists.

However, your point is well-taken. I'm sure that some people on both sides, Catholic and Protestant, will be surprised one of these days to find themselves as neighbors within the kingdom of God.

Of course you could be but the craving from the Holy spirit to the true teaching of the bible which you won't get at a catholic church. is so strong that you wouldn't want to go to a catholic church and the cofession thing is all wrong as descibe in the book of Matthew and Jesus also taught in the bible in the book of Matthew that no one should call someone Father when talking about teachers or priests. You have a lot to learn if you are a true convert.

You must be born again.

For doubting Thomas being born again is having a personal communication with the Lord 24/7.

He is with me always.

John 3:3.
To be a born again Christian means you have received the Holy Spirit in your life and you allow Him to lead and guide everything you do.

The anti-catholic pope'aphobia started with Martin Luther and when the church was the official government of England. THAT's why it broke away, broke apart and that's why so many Christians today hate catholics. They've been taught to hate and fear catholics. It's totally stupid of course, but so is the Christian religion. But, live and let live I always say.

Christian way follower of Christ...You cannot be a Biblical Christian(follower of Christ) except you've: a million. Believed that the Bible is the Word of God and that Jesus is who it says he's and did what it mentioned he did. Including that you just and I are all sinners. two. The when you consider that, then you definitely ought to repent and switch out of your sins, confessing to God all of your sins. three. Having performed all that then you definitely ought to be baptized into the dying and resurrection into the brand new lifestyles with Jesus (THIS IS BEING BORN AGAIN)...and be sealed through the Holy Spirit. A biblical Christian ought to be born once more...there's no different style of Christian, although others might name themselves that, they don't seem to be. (or a minimum of no longer a biblical christian that follows Jesus of Nazareth)

There shouldn't be many Christians who deny this, however, those Christians who remain in the Catholic church would be living in dire sin for the RC is an apostate form of Christianity.

The only requirement to be a Christian is the belief that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) and therefor the Son of God. That applies to all Catholics.

yes, there are "born again" Christians among Catholics but there are NO Christians who are not "born again". being "born again in the Blood of Jesus Christ" is the one thing that makes one a true Christian!

Any person who is a born again believer, is a Christian. Born again means that your sins have been taken away and you are a new person in Christ, because you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior.
