isn't it everyones duty to question such things

There is no justification.

Since we all are fallible and imperfect, we are subject to hypocrisy and contradiction by our own behaviour. We cannot truly question of others what we ourselves are guilty of doing.

Nonetheless, you are right in asking if it is not everyone's duty to question.

We are supposed to question things. God didn't give us a mind and free will just to help us choose if we want a Coke or Dr. Pepper for lunch!

However, you need to be more specific. What hypocrisy and contradiction are you talking about?

Contradiction in the Bible? Contradiction among the different church denominations? Hypocrisy among church members? Hypocrisy among politicians?

You can't just imply that Christianity is just a bunch of hypocrisy and contradiction. If you do, you're stating an opinion - and that can't be proven correct or incorrect.
