There isn't a fast and easy way to cure it! Antiviral meds may help but only time will make it better. Pain meds will help ease the pain.

There is no cure for shingles, but they are treatable and with proper treatment....they can go dormant in your system. Shingles are caused by the herpes simplex virus. If you had chicken pox as a child, you have that virus in your system. Some people get shingles, some don't.
If you think you have shingles, you need to see your doctor right away so they can start you on an anti-viral medication. That will lessen the severity of the outbreak. The doctor can also give you something for the pain--besides pain killers. There are creams and lidocaine patches that will also help once your sores heal.

I had Shingles for the first time a few weeks ago. I am normally in good health and haven't had any other health challenges before, so it came as a surprise.
Shingles is probably the most painful thing I have ever encountered. I went to the doctor, and he gave me some prescription drugs to take that was suposed to help, but didn't.
My wife found the Fast Shingles Cure ebook online and bought it for me, I am very lucky to have such a wonderful woman in my life. We followed the book, did what it said, and it delivered what it promised. Finally my Shingles rash is over... I feel truly blessed and thankful.

Ooooo I feel sorry for you. I had shingles 3 years ago and the nerve still hurts at times. As soon as you know you have shingles you have to start on an anti-viral medication. If you don't start right away, it is not very effective.
The pain is really awful, from my experience. Go to your doc and even if he can't give you the anti-viral, he can prescribe a stronger pain med than you can get over the counter.
Keep the lesions clean and dry, if possible. You can shower, rinse well and pat the area dry. Wash your towels in bleach to prevent spreading the virus. Anyone who has had chicken pox and comes in contact with your lesions can then get shingles.
It takes at least 6 weeks for the lesions to disappear and the pain to subside. Many people then have residual pain, so try to get them treated now, to possibly cut down on the pain you'll experience down the road.

I don't think there is a "cure", because it is a virus. But I have a friend who had it twice recently and she had to go on very strong antibiodics. I would definately go see a doctor. Her second time was so bad, she had to go into the hospital to be hooked up to IV antibiotics. Don't wait and let it get that bad.
