my period is over and these horrible pains are still there. My legs feel weak and the pain is radiating from my lower back just above my tailbone ...around to my pelvis. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

pooper works just fine...yes it does hurt more when moving or sitting. Using 800 mg Motrin which helps but after it wears off it comes right back just as strong.

Exercises like walking which do not put much strain on the back help reduce the pain. Swimming will help build the muscles which support the back. but avoid strenuous activities which can aggravate the problem.More details and remedies at http://aches.in/backpainremedies.html

I don't want to scare you but go see your gyno. Sometimes lower back pain is a symptom of cervical cancer. Get it checked out. I'm probably wrong but you want to know for sure what it is.

Maybe you just need a good poop :-0 It could be ovulation pain...I get that occasionally. Try taking Advil or pain killer of your choice & it should go away.
