You cant live for both, its either this one or after life. If your living for this one your breaking "rules" etc but if your living for after life then I guess you follow the rules and guidelines of your holy book.

I'm living for this life. What happens in the next life will happen regardless of anything I believe in.

I am living this life with all of the gusto that I can. I am living it for Jesus. Which, will , because of Jesus, lead me into the next one.

You can do both. Depending on who your reason for living is. My joy comes because Jesus states that He has come to give us life and give it abundantly. And, that means here and now too.

Both as The Bible tells us. This life has a meaning and a purpose that will lead to life everlasting.

May God Bless you.

For both. What a person thinks in this life will go on to the next life.

What a person does and act in this life will determine his next life.

I'm living this one, of course. Firstly - I'm not so sure anything (or any type of physical life at least) exists after this life. So why waste this one preparing for something that you really aren't sure of?

I am living for this life. I know I have this life. I like being alive, I like the Earth, I love adventure and debate. I can not know what happens beyond death and so will not squander my time alive worrying about it.

I try to live mostly with my "eyes on the prize".

I live my life to the fullest in the here and now, but I know it won't compare to what's in store for God's children!

Since I believe that my existence is continous. Prior to this life, this life and the next. I live for all states of being. I live to be better each day. I live to learn more each day.
