She probably promised she wouldn't move on because you asked her to. At the time she was trying to just get past the break up hoping you'd let it go. Its unreasonable to really expect her not to move on after that amount of time. If the feeling for you is not there for her, shes going to move on. If thats the case, regardless of how you feel about her and how much it may hurt, neither of you would ever be happy to try and keep it together. By persisting with it, you appear weak and no woman wants a man like that. Confidence is the most powerful attraction. If she doesn't feel the same about you as you do with her,,you need to move on too. You'll both be happier.

people are dumb thats why all this happens.. Ive had the exact same thing happen. Worrying and crying and being upset will not do anything or change it. I suggest you go out and find someone else. Just try to forget it. Im still not over what happened to me with my boyfriend but it takes time for wounds to heal

If you broke up 8 months ago, she can date whom ever she wants. She obviously doesnt want you to contact her if she doesnt answer your emails and avoids you when she see's you. You need to move on. Find someone to hang out with, male or female. It sucks to have your heart broken, but this wont be the last time it happens.......

you probably really did love her, but if she obviously doesnt want you back, you need to let her go. just because she has moved on in life doesnt mean the relationship didnt mean anything to her. also, if youre expecting her to still stay single after 8 months, thats a little bit extreme.

making promises about not getting another bf after breaking up is stupid, if u met someone that u like... u r not going to be thinking about ur ex bf, just get ur self occupied doing something thats worth it... and forget about her.. u may be missing some great opportunities with other girls

It will take some time, but you need to forget about her and move on. You can't keep dwelling on the past. Maybe she loved you maybe she didn't. It doesn't matter now. She is with someone new. Best of luck to you.

Letting go of someone because you have to may be one of the hardest things in life to do...but no matter how much you dont want to... you have to...she made her decision and you have to pay for it and its not fair...but there is a reason for this and that is that there is someone better for you somewhere and now you get the chance to go find her...

I'd start dating other people .. you're the only one who can answer if she really loved you or not........but 8 months is a pretty long time......sorry to say, but she might have moved on.......sorry, I know this sucks, but, there are alot of opportunities out there........keep confident and I'm sure you'll find someone...........wish you lots of luck.............

Move on. It's part of the learning process. The cure for a heartbreak is a new partner.
