In otherwords, people have a problem believing in God because they cant comprehend the existence of anything without a creator?
Isnt that an irony?
Since their mind is constantly running in circles saying the same old thing: nothing is without a creator. :)
I personally find it a lovely paradox.

The mind needs both deductive and inductive reasoning to make sense of even the most complex forms of existence.
I think God can be understood, not just believed in.

God comes from the Human mind. Sigmund Freud believed that people created got because people feel helpless "having to face the ultimate fate of death, the struggle of civilization, and the forces of nature". Religion was created because people like to feel protected by a more powerful force...a Father figure. (hence, the importance of the word "father" referring to God in Christianity)

Getting God out of the equation doesn't stop the conundrum -- people who explain the universe as existing as a result of the Big Bang have to deal with the question of what caused the Big Bang, why there is anything at all in existence (including energy and matter), and whether there was a "before" before the Big Bang. Saying that that the Big Bang or universe just "is" is no different from saying God just "is." But many people don't feel like the complexity of the universe can be adequately explained by "natural" forces -- it's kind of like the "enough monkeys at typewriters could produce all the works of Shakespeare given sufficient time" theory -- I don't think time alone is sufficient to explain the universe in all its complexity.

When I was a little girl I used to wonder what God's mom and dad were like. lol
Now, as an adult, I think it isn't comprehendable to us simply because our brains are fixed to earthly rules. On earth every effect must have a cause. Everything must have a creator.
It's one of those things I always thought I'd ask God someday when I die. Or maybe then I won't have to ask because my mind will be free from the rules of humans.

Here is a Johnny Joke for you...
The teacher one day ask in revolutionary class. Can anyone see the trees? Johnny answered: I can. Now, Johnny can you see the sky? Johnny answered: Yes. Then Johnny, can you see the grass: Johnny answered again: Yes. The teacher then asked: Johnny can you see God and Johnny said: NO. The teacher replied: If you cant see God then you cant believe he is really there.
Suzie comes walking towards Johnny and tells Johnny.......According to what the teacher just taught you. May I ask a few of my own questions? Johnny says:Why sure.
Suzie asked: Do; you see the sky? Johnny answered and said : yes Then Johnny can you see the trees? Johnny said; Yes. Suzie then asked: do you see the grass? Johnny replied; Yes. Then Suzie asked can you see the teacher's brains. Johnny answered; NO. Suzie states then; According to what you were just taught then the teacher must not have any.

No problem. We think of everything as having a cause, so we keep going back and back until we run into the ultimate first cause: God. He had no cause, but has always existed from eternity, independent of time and space.

The word God comes from the hebrew word Elohim, in Hebrew Elohim means 'Those who came from the sky'!
I don't believe in a God,. but growing evidence is supporting an Intelligent designer!
It is written in the bible that those who came from the sky created us.
If you read the books of Claude Veriholn (Rael) he says that these intelligent designers are coming back...

God is infinite. People are finite. The finite cannot comprehend infinity.
God does not exist at man's will, but man exists at God's will.
You do not have to accept God. You have to become acceptable to Him.

I don't know of anyone who DOESN'T believe in God, but thinks there has to be a creator.
I'm afraid you must be confused.
