Aspirin is good. If you have a bad stomach ache, are hungry, but can't hold anything down eat whole wheat bread. If you've got the strength or can have someone do this for you, this sounds like it might help:
1 Qt. Apple Vinegar 1/2 Tsp. Tumeric 1/2 Tsp. Cinammon
3 Cloves Garlic 1 Tsp. Chili Powder 1/4 Tsp. Thyme
1 Tsp. Minced Fresh Ginger 2 Tsp. Blackstrap Molasses --- Mix in Blender or Food Processor, chill in fridge. 3 Tsps. Daily.

Take any medication that says pain reliever/fever reducer on the bottle. Motrin IB, Tylenol, or Advil usually work pretty good. You should get lots of rest and keep your eyes off the computer screen. That can make your headache worse. Try to drink lots of fluids and if your symptoms don't go away in 3-4 days, call a dr.

First stay home so as not spread it. I'm sure everyone will thank you. My boyfriend was just in the hospital because of the flu. When he got home his doctor told him to drink fluids. He couldn't hold down water so he drank Gatorade and Sprite. Also chicken soup really helps. Take Tylenol to help with the aches and pains. And sleep as much as possible. The cough can last several weeks. But watch what you are coughing up to make sure it does not go into pneumonia.
Good luck, hope this helps, and feel better soon!

a warm bath or warm towel on the head plus fever reducer will help
btw it gets worse before it gets better you will start to ache and then the cough comes.... :::coughs:: I know this one first hand..
Oh and it lasts about a week but you can still pretty much function. Just stay home the first couple of days to prevent giving the whole school/office the bug.
