you are fighting a losing argument hun. I would suggest studying as much about it as you can. Creationism is a myth....Evolution is fact...sorry to burst your bubble

Unrefutable proof of genetic mutation and natural selection resulting in a gain of information:

In 1975 a particularly interesting strain of flavobacterium was found living in ponds containing waste water from a nylon factory, it was capable of digesting certain byproducts of nylon production that do not exist naturally and didn't exist at all until the invention of nylon in 1935.

On further observation it was deduced that the bacteria had undergone a genetic frame-shift - an extra base pair had been created in error during cell division and shifted a large section of genetic information forward. This can cause fatal results as it can prevent proteins from being created.

--- A gene sequence works in groups of 3 eg. {ACG GAC GTA}, 1 group of 3 signifies a particular amino-acid. Adding an extra basepair throws it out eg. {A[T]C GGA CGT A} ---

The outcome of this frameshift was different though, although the bacteria had lost it's previous capability to digest simple sugars, it had managed to stumble upon an enzyme capable of digesting the nylon byproducts.

Personally, I doubt that you're debating either of these arguments as a part of school. No class would cover such an area except maybe politics, and I seriously doubt your school has politics classes.

My guess is that someone's got you stumped and that you're looking for a way to prove them wrong. Good luck on that.

you want some down home, basic, logical thinking....and from a debater that even the best scientists can't debate against?

You can get on YouTube or Google Videos and search for more of his work. He does have 7 part series that I would highly recommend to watch. Each is like 2 hours long but you will come away with enlightening knowledge.

Micro-evolution: fact.
Feed some fruit flies a chemical mutagen. Some of their offpsring will be different from the parents. Some of those differences will breed true.

Intermediate evolution: fact
A mini-dachshund was selectively bred, over thousands of years, from a wolf. A mini-dachshund is NOT a wolf.
Other example: Corn, bred from teosinte.
Odd example: true-breeding triticale

Macro-evolution: theory
It's our best explanation for the observed diversity of life on the planet.
There's no mechanism which would prevent micro-evolution and intermediate evolution, over a very long period of time, from becoming macroevolution. Have a look at isolated populations on islands -- Darwin went to the Galapagos, and observed the finches, tortoises, and iguanas there -- related to the creatures found on the mainland, and yet different.

Not unless you see a dog birth a cat or a whale or an iguana. Or a gorilla or chimpanzee give birth to a human being.

There is just nothing out there but drawings and a theory.

Evolution's entire argument is that one species births multiple species, and we just see no evidence of that.

Species just do not evolve into other species. And there is no proof that they ever did.

Biology is the study of life patterns and how life is based on what we know and can see around us. Biology is empirical; Evolution is not.

Notice all these guys saying yes there is proof, but they do not tell you what proof there is. . .

No, but there's proof against it.

If evolution occurred as described, there would not be distinct species, but all variations between- IOW, links. However, thjere are thousands of "missing links"- reason? They never existed.

Evolution of species occurred like the evolution of the automobile. A sensient being designed and created each distinct species.

Don't believe it? Look for the series of links between horses and cows.

If you have faith, you do not need proof or knowledge. Just say "god did it".
If it's knowledge and science that you are looking for then you need to study biology and other subjects and you will see that yes, there are many findings that support the theory of evolution.
You do know though that science leads to atheism and that the church used to burn scientists so you have to make a choice.
Either you believe and remain ignorant or you study and get rid of delusional mental disorders.
Whatever you choose, enjoy it.

You have to define the term "proof". If the standard is beyond any doubt, nothing in the physical universe meets it. If the standard is beyond any reasonable doubts, then much of the science meets it. If the standard is preponderance of the evidence, then the rest of the theory falls in since it is evidence-based.

There is so much proof for evolution that if you are taking the Creation side, you will be plowed under, since there is absolutely no proof for creation.

Evolution is absolutly every where around you, pick any subject and you will find many forms of evolution, example a baby human it evolves from a single cell.

There is a huge amount of evidence in many fields (biology, archaeology etc) that proves evolution. Do some research, you could even start with wikipedia.
