Why is that?

she is 15 years old and i don't know what to do

She could have a simple cyst, or it could be cancerous. You need to take your dog to a vet to have the "lump" tested. No one will be able to offer a true diagnosis here - we can't see her. Please take her to the vet.

is this lump new or old? If it's new, she might have a bug bite. If it's been there for a while, have you had a vet look at it?

Take her to the vet, it could be a cyst or other kind of growth.

How do you expect us to know, you have her not any of us and you need to get off the computer and get her to the vet ASAP.

Your vet would be the most qualified to answer that question as nobody here can see the bump.....
