I read somewhere that ice-cold water takes about 15 calories per cup to heat up... but PLEASE. There are better ways to lose body fat.

The amount is so negligible, it is a trick employed mainly by anorexics, as hteir caloric intake is so sparse, even a miniscule burn means something to them.
