Windows has always been trying to catch up with MAC. MAC has always kept it simple and easy to use. It usually takes Microsoft a few years before they find all the bugs in their latest OS and by the time it's running smoothly, it's time for next OS.

Macs seem more secure than a a Windows. I've owned a pc for 3 years and over 2 worms came crashing in! I own a mac for 2 years...no problems yet! So i am turning into a mac person!

i exploit a Mac and that i think of that's enormous. Key issues to notice relating to the Mac: that's a steep gaining know-how of curve coming from a abode windows based device. that's somewhat greater costly than your abode windows device. The classes you checklist won't artwork natively on the mac. The Mac does allow you to place in abode windows on it as nicely, so which you will run the abode windows purposes. there's a version of microsoft place of work (notice, excel and so on...) for the Mac. good tip: i might propose going into your community apple save and having a seem at a 21" iMac or a 15" MacBook professional (later is a working laptop or laptop, former a pc). i don't be conscious of lots approximately Linux. i admire my Mac (some might say a sprint too lots) and that i might propose it to anyone. have you ever considered upgrading your pc hardware tona speedier device and boosting the working device to abode windows 7? would desire to be a sprint greater particularly-priced. desire this helps!

I guess you'd have to ask why is Apple copying alot of the hardware found in PCs?
Remember Microsoft makes most of its money not in OS sales, but rather sales of Office and development tools. It's not Microsofts goal to compete with Apple in capabilities, but rather stay close enough that there isn't any overwhemling apparant need to switch. Remember, the goal of Vista is not to give the illusion of greater features than XP - but rather give the illusion of enhanced security. I run all three OS's (five if you include Linux and OS9).
Vista is not an OSX killer - it doesn't need to be.

Because Mac OS is superior & creative. But Windows is the standard (by far) for business, governement,m education and personal. Too bad. Macintosh rocks, but it's generally more expensive and there isn't nearly the software available for it.
