I'm 5 foot 10 and 6 stones. My parents and siblings tell me I'm too thin, but I don't believe them. I don't really eat a lot. I never eat breakfast, I sometimes have lunch and most of the time I have dinner. I am a dancer and I love running so I exercise a lot.
I've been told to eat more, but I don't want to get fat! I used to be 8 stones and thought of myself as horribly fat, but I'm 6 stones now, but is it normal that I want to lose more weight? And how do I ocnvince people that I don't think I'm too thin? I don't want to look like a skeleton though.

Help is appreciated
xx

Why settle for just being thin when you can be fit and healthy and have beautiful skin and hair and a happy outlook on life? Eat, exercise, enjoy life and stop skipping meals. Strive to be gorgeously healthy, not just skinny. Skinny isn't attractive.

Ummm yes I would most definitely say that you are too thin. By calculations you are about 84lbs (6 stones). According to many doctors you would be considered dangerously underweight. For your height you should be between 132 lbs and 173 lbs, with a target weight of 153 lbs. (about 9 to 12 stones). Being under weight causes extreme stresses on the body and especially the heart, which is weakened when the individual is underweight. I don't want to sound harsh, but you are far from fat, probably very skeleton like in fact and I would recommend seeing a nutritionist to help you put weight on in a healthy manner. Keep up your dancing and running, those are great activities but you have to understand that being that thin does not equal healthy.

Ok ok, I'm not too good with the stones to pounds conversions....but according to my calculations you'd only weigh 84lbs?!?!?! You've got to be KIDDING me!! That would mean your BMI is only 12.1, which means you're almost dead.
Seriously, if you're 5'10 and weigh only 6 stones you ALREADY look like a skeleton and need to speak with a counselor before you start having some serious health issues. I'm suprised your family doctor hasn't said something to you. The counselor will help you with the feelings of anxiety about weight and weight gain, I promise. They're not going to make you fat, just help you feel better about yourself. I promise, you'll feel so much better after speaking to a professional.

Yes, you are way underweight. If my calculations are correct, you weigh 84 pounds? At 5'10" that is way too light. That is very unhealthy. Even when you were at 8 stones you weighed too little. If you thought you were "horribly fat" at 8 stones, then I would suggest getting some professional counseling and also, see your doctor so that he/she can get you on a healthy diet plan to gain some weight! Good luck!

You are WAY underweight. I think you need to seek professional help. You could be facing serious helath problems if you don't EAT something. Go to a McDonalds!
