Look out at our world and notice that millions of children are dying of starvation. It really is horrific. Why would God be worried about you getting a raise, while at the same time ignoring the prayers of these desperate, innocent little children? It really doesn't make any sense, does it? Why would a loving god do this?

For starters, God never promised any of us that life here on Earth would be easy. Secondly, God shows His unconditional love for us by giving us all the freedom of choice. The millions of starving children in the world are a direct result of bad choices made by the leaders of the countries in which these starving children live. Ask anyone who has ever worked for CARE or UNICEF or the Peace Corps and they'll tell you that any aid provided by the U.S. rarely gets to the people it is intended to help because the greedy/corrupt people in government take most or all of it first. Finally, God is VERY concerned about all these starving children while at the same time being concerned about me getting a raise, but just because I ask God for a raise doesn't mean I'll get it. God does NOT ignore the prayers of desperate, innocent children -- now, what makes you think that all (or any, for that matter) of these desperate, innocent children are praying to God and asking for His help? Do you have any evidence to show that there are throngs of Christian children in third world countries who are praying to God regularly and still not getting any aid? I'm from Missouri -- SHOW ME.

Man is doing this - not God. Shortly God will get enough of man and how he runs God's earth and how man treats His little children by starvation and by abortion and by abuse. God has everything on this earth to sustain us and no children should be starving. Greed and hatred for our brother and sister cause this horrific state. You are blaming God when you need to be looking at the men running the countries that you are talking about. A good example was Saddam Hussein and his palace, yet his people lived in poverty conditions with tons of oil rich land. Look at the Taliban in Afghanistan. It is evil man - not God. God is just and righteous and loving and caring. God will judge the men who have killed innocent children and shed innocent blood. As the world gets more and more violent, we get closer and closer to the coming of the Lord. The Bible clearly states that God gave man dominion over the earth and God will hold man responsible for every evil deed.

God gives us free will. If parents choose not to work or to pursue an education that will lead to a better income their children will starve. If an economy is decimated because of skyrocketing death rates due to AIDS (a disease spead by behavior) children will starve. If a corrupt government is allowed to come into power children will starve. If people do not practice sustainable agriculture and ruin their land, children will starve.

God doesn't cause starvation, peoples' sinful behavior causes starvation. He gives us the choice, you see. Unfortuately sin effects more people than just the sinner. If we want to end starvation we need to have a right relationship with God.

Why would you blame God for what is happening in the world? Aren't everything caused by human greed? There are people who are wise and have taken more than what they need. There are the victims of greed from those are wise and selfish. There are ignorant who made a wrong choice in their path of life. There are lazy who would not want to work for their food. There are those who did not fight for their rights and there those whose rights of others were suppressed by the power of the strong and greedy. There are Temples, churches and religous assembly halls impressively big and luxuriously adorned with golds and ornaments taken from the people who were made to believe that if they give more, God 's grace for them will come back a thousand folds. There are cities with big hotels and gambling casinos and entertainments where foods are wasted in tons everyday of their operations. These is not God's loving work. These are men's insensitivities to the needs of others. A group of wealthy and strong countries ganging up on great natural resources of third world countries and paying only a few at the expense of millions citizens who have no share from their own wealth. Imagine Africa's diamond, Imagine Arab's oil. Imagine the third world countries whose wealth is controlled by less than 10% of their population because the wealthy countries doing business with them catered only to a few corruptible negotiators and never cared because they are only concerned on how much will they bring home. Have patience...God is expecting His people to do our best but if He cannot see how we can change from all our selfish activities, He will step in and none of us will like it.

He's not doing it. man is. God has decreed that this earth (flesh) age that each person is to come through to make an ultimate choice of who to follow. This is because in the previous age, satan rebelled, and lots of our people followed on satans side. God is fair, and everyone is getting to make their own fair choice. However, in order to do that, He must step aside and let man follow his heart, and have free will. God will not interfere with somebody who has free will. Otherwise, you could say at judgement: "yeah , God, but maybe i would've done it different if you didn't interfere in my life". Well, you won't be able to say that. Unfortunately, when you leave anything up to man, you can be sure he will screw it up. Thats why the world is in the shape its in. Man is running things.
Behind the scenes, though, God is really in control, and at the designated time, He will return; this time its not gonna be to get hung on a cross; this time He comes back as a King and with a rod of iron. Thats for correction.
And boy, is this world ever ready for a little correction. There will be correction, teaching, and disipline for a 1000 year period.
God also promises to restore the time spent by so many in suffering, etc.
All will be made right. Hang in there.

Jesus said, "there will always be the poor among us".

Have you ever considered that the Bible is right, and that Church Doctrine is wrong in regards to God being all powerful and all knowing, in terms of today's meaning for "all".

To your dog, you are all powerful, and all knowing.

Proof:

You can open the front door; your dog cannot
You can open a can of dog food; your dog cannot.
You are all powerful, and all knowing to your dog.

That doesn't mean you are responsible for that tornado that hit that trailer park and killed those innocent children.

I think God is 9 billion times more advanced than us; scientifically, technologically, and of course evolutonarily. (The Universe was formed 13.7 billion years ago. Any Planet that was formed then -Planet H (Heaven) would have a 9 billion year head start on this young planet we call Earth. (Planet Earth is only 4.5 billion years old)

I think his computers on Heaven have a reconstruction formula for every entity on Earth. ------- He can give us eternal life, what else do you want from him?

One of my favorite movie lines of all time is "Oh God!" with George Burns. He says something to the effect of, "I put you all on the earth, I gave you everything you need. It's up to you now. You can love each other or kill each other."

I see starving children as a consequence of some very bad choices. We DO have enough food to feed everyone on the planet and we DO have the ability to get the food to most - if not all - of them.

The problem is that there are governments who will let the food rot in the port as opposed to distributing it to the people because they use hunger to try to persuade or punish their "enemy."

I like to believe that one day we will get to the point where hunger will be eliminated, clean water will be available to everyone and war won't even be necessary.

If that's all your mom is eating interior the direction of the day, she's additionally ravenous herself. Is there no one else interior the kinfolk that has get right of entry to to the meals or is in a position to feed them? Why do no longer you furnish to feed the dogs's their on a daily basis food extremely of her, say you p.c. to help out greater with the canines. then you definately can feed them a ultimate quantity for each meal(which will variety based on the dogs's length and interest point) If she will have the skill to no longer permit you feed them then you definately can checklist to animal administration related to the canines/which you're feeling they do no longer look to be being fed adequate. you are able to checklist it without them revealing who it grew to become into. Man has taken life into their own hands.
Do you really think it was GOD that made Bill gates so rich, or more himself or the devil.

I see people adopting children in those situations, and that looks like God to me. Sorry it's not fast enough for you, instead of waiting for GOD to fix it, why don't you make the first step.

God says,You reap what you sow. God warned us if we do this, then this will happen. It is the sin of the world that causes these things to happen, not God. God told us the way to live, so as to not have things like that happen. The generations of most starving people did not worship the Lord or regard him. He cannot bless them because of that. The past generations choices caused those innocent little children to be hungry. Maybe it will bring that generation back to God one day.
