What is in the past is in the past and has nothing to do with your present relationship. I prefer not to talk about any of my relationships with my current partner. I look at as a learning experience for myself, he knows how i feel about it and neither of us know the amount of partners the other has had. As far as knowing for health reasons, you can contract a disease from sleeping with just one person. The number of partners has nothing to do with health reasons. Tell him you think that is personal and although you aren't trying to hide anything you would feel more comfortable not discussing the past, he should respect you for your honesty.

No!

This isn't something that you talk to your partner about. This is something personal. I don't think that it's something you talk to anyone about (except, of course, the things you have to bring up for health reasons).

At my age (40 something) I would definately expect that any woman I slept with has had other partners. I can tell you though, I sure don't want to know about it, nor do I want to discuss any partners I've had. That just isn't a conversation I'd have with anyone.

it depends... if this partner will become your husband... then you should tell him... if you don't plan on marrying him no...

You need to share that... do you want somebody to love YOU for you or the you, that you just pretend to be... ?
