And if you download a file that is illegal but you didn't know it was, what happens? Are you still in trouble?

if it is illegal, delete the file right away and empty the computer recycling bin!!

If it is any kind of media file at all (movie, music, etc) then odds are it is copyrighted and therefore illegal...unless you happen to know that it is freely distributable or if you already own the movie or music in another format). The same goes for software and eBooks.
As far as the "I didn't know it was an illegal file" defense...I don't think that will holdup in court.

Any file on Limewire is illegal because people are sharing music they're not supposed to be sharing. Then again, you're free to download it because only people who upload music are in trouble. So go crazy and get everything you want!

All files and content on Limewire is now illegal thanks to new Internet laws. The content on Limewire regardless is illegal to download and use.

right click the file ,then the advanced option select the bitzi lookup.
don't worry about the lisceing or what ever it is. nothing will happen, everthing is fine.

You can download music if you already own it on another format like cassette or vinyl
