When my girl is hiding "text" messages from me , and possible calls from this one guy. She deletes her text messages and calls. She says it because she doesn't want me to "get mad over it" but yet I told her I wouldn't be mad, as long as she showed me the text. She doesn't. She sleeps by her phone too.
It's a guy I don't care for and when I say stuff about him, she defends him. Yet she says nothing is going on.
What's this mean? Girl of 8 years too, I've been with her, 8 years

I think she is getting emotionally involved with the other guy.
It's not fair to you, not fair to your relationship.
Ask yourself how much do you love her? Did she loose an interest in you? If you think so, why?
Look in the mirror: did you gain inactive belly? How about bad male's habbit like farting in front of her or burping? Remember, it's not sexy...lol Try to take care of yourself, it's important.
How often did you do something special for her? Not just spending money like buying stuff or going out but something really special that she doesn't expect?
Women seek a romance. We all need an attention from our men. She is slipping away from you, buddy. You have to be a part of her life, do stuff together. You know her better than nobody else since you have been together for 8 years.
Talk to her, explain how you feel. Make her feel loved and important part of your life. Ask her a question: does she still love you?
Try to keep her occupied and spend as much time as possible together it will keep her off the phone.
Plan a little trip to the mountains or river, ocean, valley... etc. Take her to romantic place. One very important condition: she must live her phone at home. Be nice, always nice.. ask her to give you a chance to show her how important she is in your life. Act! There is no time.
You CAN gain her back. She knows who you are, she spent 8 years of her life next to you it means you worth the time and effort.
Remember, never leave the one you love for the one you like because the one you like will leave you for the one they love. Tell her this. :)

First of all when you wrote she is hiding something...well, she is not being faithful. For eight years...she is lying to you then.
Trust works both ways. No trust...no love or faith.
Then the guy is someone you don't care for...that is anothe sign
that she is going against what you and her stand for. Eight years is a long time.
It think you should have a talk with her and see where she is going with this.
In my opinion she is cheating on you especially if she won't tell you what is on the Text.

She's cheating on you other wise she'd have nothing to hide. Seriously. I'd get to know this other guy, steal his phone, text her with it and make her think it's him. Gottcha caught in the act. Just an idea that or move on and find a real girl cuz a real girl she aint. She's a lying cheating whore.

She's certainly hiding something and you may have to prepare yourself for her cheating on you. You just have to ask yourself do you trust this girl or not? She's hiding things from you, are you always going to be suspicious now. It's time for a serious sit down talk with her. If she starts getting defensive and angry, ask her why. Stay calm and just tell her this is how you feel. Try not to be accusatory.

From my point of view i would have to say that yes she is cheating. i think you should start doing the same like hiding your phone and erasing calls even if it just regular phone calls to make here feel the way you feel if it looks like she doesn't care then she is really cheating on you. You definately need to do a little more investigating. This seems like more than just a friend. Let your gf know that you dont mind her texting him but you do want to see what their talking about. Obviously it's something that you would get mad over or she would show you what their talking about. Maybe you need to reevaluate this relationship.

Somethings up. Can you look at her phone when she's in the shower or away from it somehow? And honestly do you really want to see what it says?? Think you know that something is going on...sometimes it's better not to have it put in your face. Been there done that.

Well, you're demanding and controlling, for one. She could have a male friend and b/c of your actions/words, she deletes them to protect him from you.
Mind your own business - if it turns out that something is going on, she is not hiding it very well and you'll know soon enough.

if you guys have been together that long....she shouldnt be hiding anything from you. She should be able to show you everything. You probally should figure out whats going on between this guy that means nothing.
