Could only think of 4

1) To teach them to choose healthier options when they are given the chance to decide for themselves

2) So they have more energy in class from drinking milk or water instead of crashing from having soda

3) To promote health awareness

4) To stop obesity

I've seen kids eat just the junk food and not eat anything nutritious for lunch. they need healthy food to grow properly and to be able to do their schoolwork well. kids already are too fat from sitting at computers or video games or tv. they need more exercise and healthy diets.
