You need activities. Find some activities you like doing together. Maybe biking, hiking, walking, clubbing, etc. Perhaps joining some clubs might bring some additional friends your way. From toastmasters to car clubs, there might be something that interests the both of you that will get you engaged with activity, not boredom. What about taking some fun classes together. My wife and I took ceramics last semester at our local college. Quite a fun class. There are plenty of art type stores that hold workshops for novices. Try some of those. Get some penpals. Maybe you could adopt a soldier. Regardless of how you feel about the war, a penpal or group of penpals that you and your boyfriend have together might be cool. What about traveling? I'll bet you have never thought about what might be within 200 miles or less of where you live. Surely, there's something interesting there.
Just some ideas, hope that helps.

Do you live within driving distance of a larger city where there are museums or concerts? Try a weekend road trip. Get out of your quiet little place. Take the Greyhound bus if driving is a problem. It always helps to change your surroundings for a while and do something different. As for boredom, my theory is that only boring people get bored.

Take him to do something fun like playing paintball, golfing, go to a concert, ride horses. Just be creative and think of things that you have the oppurtunity and ability to do and occupy your free time with some activity.

Do some vision work.
Ask him where he sees himself in 10 years, 5 years, 1 year etc...
Then actually listen to him...
Within this conversation, you can catch some jewels of what he wants in life and what his interests truly are. From here you can gain inspiration to pick activities that tap into who he is and thus he can have fun thanks to your brilliance.
Hopefully, he can reciprocate the desire to make you happy.

Go online and see what kinds of things you can do in your area. and each day, pick a new thing for you guys to do with each other. also, you could watch movies, or just have sex. or call your friends and see what they are doing and hang out with them, like at a club or something.

Communication is the key to every good relationship, you need to talk to him and ask him what he would like to do or what would make him happy. Remember it not all about him either, do things with him that you like to do also.
