will give the room more of a comforting feeling... purple, deep gold, dark blue, peach, or a shiny gray tone? any thoughts would be great.

The house has polished wood wall...think a light brown coloring..

I've always found neutral tones to be more comfortable. If you don't like light neutrals, a darker neutral like a milk chocolate might do the trick.

What color is your walls? You want to make sure that the fabric looks nice with the walls. I would want the autumn color of orange personally.
What about sage?

I like the deep gold, but don't know what color the walls or furnishings are.

they say pink has a calming effect on people, but I'd say like a mint, or a lavender, or maybe a mauve would be nice



My therapist balance her office and it's quite comforting and she has muted purple greens and gold

depends on your colors you have now but the new color is RED.........couches and chairs and everything is going red
