It is wonderful to hear that you are a new Christian! I suggest you get your Bible and read the Sermon on the Mount - especially Matthew 5:11-12, "Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you."
Also Matthew 5:43-44, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven...."
Matthew 6:14, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly FAther will also forgive you.
Matthew 18:21-22, "...How often should I forgive?... Jesus said to him, "Not seven times, but I tell you, seventy-seven times."
Continue praying for guidance and we will pray for you also. And read all of the Sermon on the Mount - there is much more good advice from Jesus to be read - Matthew chapters 5-8.

I'm not sure what you mean by a New Christian, if you are new to Christianity or if it is a specific church. Running through the countryside proclaiming your faith and your pious observance may gain you glory in Church but you will annoy everyone else. Do you spend a lot of time telling them how very moral and good you are? Do you try to justify taking Sunday off by proclaiming that you "need it for church" or do you just do your work, and let them live their lives? As a non-christian, I am totally cool with and have a great respect for those christians who truly believe in their God and live accordingly. I cannot abide those that are hypocrites and spend most of their time telling me how right they are and how great they are and the like. Its fine if you believe, its fine if you worship, but shut up about it and get on with it.
Most people who work fastfood are in lack of a high school and certainly a college education. We are talking about a group of people who believe and see the rest of the world as better then they are. This will cause them to find self-worth wherever they can, and that usually means in the perceived failings of others. You will have to let go of what you "hear people are saying" and address any comments that someone may make in a respectful and dismissive way (someone is giving you a hard time about church you simply say, "I'll thank you to go about your life and leave me to mine." etc)

come on man, haven't you heard? Sticks and stones, but names will never hurt you. How old are you anyways? Why would you care if people slander you? Either ignore it or confront it, those are your two options, so the question is, was your honor threatened so badly that it deserves retalliation? Or will you just not give a sh*t about it?
And why does it have to be becuase you are Christian? think about it, you get off on Sunday, they work on Sunday. It's a fast food job, so they probably don't like it. What does your religion have to do with anything? Or better yet, why do people at work know your religion? It's fast food, you could tell your manager you need Sundays off to smoke crack. Why should they care?

Either find a new job, or stop taking the whole day off just for church. Most Christians I know go to church for a couple of hours, then are free the rest of the day. There are services all day long, you could go at any time. Why do you need the entire day? That may be why they are making fun of you. Only the newly converted show such zealousness.

The Bible says that we should expect to have things a bit difficult as Christians. The fact is that we're strange to the world, because they don't know Jesus. The teasing may not stop, but you don't need to be afraid of it. Be confident that Jesus is real, and you really know him. Tell your Christian friends about it so they can pray for you and support you.
Here are some verses that you could look at:
John 15:18-21
1 Peter 3:15-17
Acts 5:41

Don't show any reaction. You could threaten them with a lawsuit for harrassment, but I wouldn't advise it. Just be a duck. Let it roll off like water.

You know, there are many good christians who have to work on sunday to put food on their family's table. Your asking for the entire day off "for church" pisses them off, and rightfully so.
If you don't like it, then stop expecting special treatment because of your religion...

God Bless you on being a new Christian...
Stand tall, firm and ask God to protect you against these people.
As Christians we go through persection each day, remember in the Bible what Jesus went through..
Don't let them get to you and pray for each one of those people daily while working...
There is a law against harassement and tell your boss you will consider taking action if they continue...
You are working with non believers but you stand strong in God..
