I was in a very close relationship with the same guy for 2 and half years. Knowing it was over I was crushed, but I finally found someone new. Well, the first guy ended up ruining my new relationship and now it has been 2 months and I’ve found someone even better. And I really like him. The first guy, my long relationship guy, is so jealous that he is downright rude to me. And he just finds the time to come over to my house just because he is friends with my sister even knowing it bothers me. People tell me that he really loves me and that I should give it a chance. Well, when he was treating me bad and telling me that he couldn’t be with me everyone told me to move on. Now that he is in that boat and I refuse to be with him everyone is calling me heartless and saying I am wrong. In my eyes I moved past a bad time in my life and found actual love with people who haven’t tried to change me. This was just the one time that he turned around and I wasn’t there waiting. Any suggestions?

I wish I knew. I feel treated this way too after 6 years.
Its like he does not want you to be happy.
Dont talk to him ask your sister not to let him come over they can meet somewhere else

Girl, continue to be happy in your new relationship. F*ck what everyone else is saying. People will tell you anything whether you are doing good or bad. If you feel happy with the one you're with, continue to be. The first guy should've realized what he had and not acted like an idiot and ruined it. It's not your problem, is it? Just continue to make decisions for yourself and do what you think is right.

The first guy is only coming back now because you've found someone else. If you dumped your current guy for him, he'd probably split. Ignore the people around you and listen to your own instincts. You know him better than any of them do.

if you listened to everyone else before and managed to find happiness again then stay where you are because how do you know that he isnt going to mistreat you again. never look back cause you have already been there keep on moving forward with your life and soon enough he will too if not theres always a restraining order to keep him away from you. best of luck.

Don't pay attention to people around you. On the long run....they are all going to go their way and make their lives and you're gonna be stuck with some guy who doesn't appreciate you. he probably only wants you because he knows you have someone else, don't let people's criticism get to you.....you gave it your all and you tried and he didn't appreciate it, so it's his loss.

I think u have the right to deny him after he treated u like that and broke ur heart.... It doesn't matter if people think that about u b/c u know whats right for you not them.... It seems to me, that he only wants u b/c u got someone new and u dont want him..... So keep ur head up and remember if u keep looking back you'll never get forward (with ur life)...

your doing the right thing. If he treated you badly and you have now found someone that truely cares for you....you shouldn't give that up. That guy that treated you badly had his chance and now it's gone. so dont back for him.

because that is just the way that it is always going to be i mean there is nothing that you can do to change it. you just need to take time and talk to him and tell him how you feel. i really dont know what more i can tell you.
