As i have never replyed to any letters sent from the debt collectors working on behalf of natwest they would be unable to use the legal system

#1. There is NO time limit on the collection of debt.
#2. Whether you replied or not has no bearing on anything.
#3. They can take you to court, take your home, or garnish your wages. I would suggest taking care of it RIGHT NOW.

Although the debt does not go away, there is a statue of limitations in regard to whether or not they can take you to court for it. You would have to check the laws of the state you live in to find out what their SOL is.
