OK, I like this guy, let's call him Sam. He always texts me saying how much he likes me, that he thinks I'm amazing and has told everyone we know how much he likes me. But his friend, let's call him Connor, likes me too and has fallen for me in a big way.
It was connor's 18th, and while I think of him as just a friend, we spent most of the evening chatting which I suspect may have made sam a bit...jealous? Not that he showed it, he reacted by touching two of my friends on the bum. But when my friend drunkenly tried to kiss him he pushed her away.
There's so many rumours that he's a player, but he insists he's not. He's asked me out on several dates but then not taken me up on it. Should I just forget about him? He doesn't know that I like him "that way" I don't think, should I tell him? I'm not sure what to do! HELP!! XX

If there are rumours he is a player and he denies it...then HE IS ACTUALLY A PLAYER. That's one sign
Other sign of a player is he asks you out and then he does not keep his word...he is player. He knows you like him and he keeps you there just in case...I bet when you see to loose interest he asks you out right? This is for keeping you interested

Stay away. He is a player. If he has asked you out and not taken you up on it, then you take note of the fact. Not very complimentary is it. Did he perhaps find something 'better' to do? Are you maybe just a backup that he keeps in tow in case he needs a date when all else fails? You should have the message by now, surely?

It sounds to me as though this person says one thing & acts an entire other way. You want someone that is secure in the words and actions if this person is indecisive now they will be later . I think Connor is best he knows what he wants & is making it clear to you don't waste your time on the other guy he's a loser.

Shoooo girl dont mess with that. If some one is saying his a player... then believe it. His trying to get back at you by making you jealous... or trying to. I wouldnt bother! He could be the hottest guy in the world... But is worth having you heart broken?

Sometimes, even a player falls hard and falls in love. Just don't let him play you. You need to set the guidelines and not him. If hes a player , then all he wants is sex. If you don't have sex with him and he is really into you and respects that, then you know where you stand with him. If you really like him too, sometimes you have to take a chance.

If he really like you he would do something special for you on valentines day, something out of the ordinary. If he asks you out say yes and go and try to get to know him better. You also say that you like him however I am a guy and I don't like it when a girl tries too hard to show she likes me, its a turn off. Try to hint him once or twice but after that play hard to get. Men want what they can't have! its in our blood. Good luck
