My friends husband was going out with a dutch girl. She took him home for supper at her parents house as well as to introduce him to them. They were all sitting around and the mother walked in carrying a huge tray of food so the boyfriend jumped up took the tray with the intention to help her and the girls father says to him " Sit, pig your food is on its way". We are still laughting about it, specially when it was said in Dutch [ Sit, vraat jou kos kom].

Very funny :-) but that's not dutch..... afrikaans I suppose? In dutch he should have said: "Zit, varken jouw eten komt nog". Then afrikaans does sound very funny.
As for your question: I was the other day for the first time at my girlfriends parents, but I didn't do anything foolish.. boring eh?

Not really all that funny but when i first met my bf's parents there was 5 of us in the room and only 4 seats, I was stood up and his dad asked if I wanted to sit down, I replied "No, it's OK, I'm honest!" meeting the in laws is a scary thing!

My gf had a birthday party at her parents house. In the wee hours of the morning her cousin appeard in the kitchen with a pair of knickers on his head ( clean ) . He then put them on my head 2 secs before her mum walked in! All i could do was laugh! We are no longer together !

not her parents but one of my friends older friends that is married her husband asked me how old i was and my mind just froze it was EXTREMLY embarresing!
