I think runaway growth is pretty short-sighted, despite any population imbalances they might have, they still have a massively huge population, easily 4 times that of the United States. We should be cautious of people trying to force-feed growth into our country, and with good reason. Religious groups have become very pro-growth in recent years....
Further, why should america have to help anybody with anything? When did our country become the global welfare office etc? When, exactly, did other countries/other people become so chronically helpless, exactly? It stinks like dirty politics, to me.
Truth be known, China will probably end up having to help the United States, someday...there's also more to life than following the standard growth model, some people, men and women both, never get married to begin with. Thinking it's your Patriotic Duty to have kids is probably what got China in trouble to begin with...
and, India's right behind em. You want help from America? Ok, let's start building condom factories....what China should be asking, and the rest of the world should be asking, too, is if a world of 6.6 billion can't support a full third of its' total in a way anything resembling a commonly accepted 'normal' standard,
how will a world of 8,9,10,12 billion fare? What will 12 billion people eat? Each other?
Decisions, decisions...the end of the 19th century saw 1.4 billion people, the end of the 20th saw 6.5 billion people, today it's 6.6, going on 6.7, faster than you can say it.
You ask how we can help? I say 'condoms and schoolbooks'
Soylent green is people....

Given the way the American justice system treats men in specific relationships issues with women, it is no small wonder most single men don't want "legal" invovement with women.
Men lose big time in issues concerning marriage when divorce becomes and issue. I will say that the outcry of injustice seems to have turned that problem to a fairer end these days.
The law again, mandates that men be responsible for their wives and mostly their children. I believe that is a correct approach. However, the need to be responsible, is raining on most guys parade ...who just wanna have fun. The ladies are really no better in that they have it beaten into their heads to be married and have children since they were old enough to comprehend English, is the only way to be a TRUE woman.
Balderdash from my corner! You are what you are. Persons are here to come to know who they are ...not to do some societyal act called marriage or to bear unwanted/cared for new life. Really, any animal can do that.
Who are you? is the question the Guru's of India and sainits of the world give as advice to those seeking it. I am not saying that being married or having children is somehow bad, be clear about this. Know who you are and what you want to do ...and then do it to the highest possible in your own heart.
Again, in fairness, many young women of today have come to see and realize this very important issue and are not just rolling over to bear children and cater to some seed spewing, kinda OK penetrator. I take great heart in this and it gives me hope against all the crazyness of our current world. Kudos to the YOUNG PEOPLE. You kids GO!
AS to helping China, we already are. They own most of the debt this country has. In a blind moment they could sort of call their debts in and flip the USA on it's back in many ways. It well may happen. In some rather draconian ways, the Chinese know how to handle a problem. A softer touch,by them with more cuddling involved and their system would beat our own handily.
Given the nature of the beast who's bowls we live within, I worry about a future of prosperity and health for us all.
Our problems won't be centered around Male childs, and who they may or may not be in any event.

I like your idea if america actually had alot of people that were 1/2 chinese and 1/2 american then we would have a very hard time going to war or causing problems with China.

Why should I care about China? I don't and nobody in America does, maybel less than 1%. China's industry is booming, and its because of these smart males. They're over crowded and live like rats let em be. Let them continue to feel lucky to be chinese, that's what I want them to feel.

They created the problem by killing their babies. I don't see why we would help them. It is not a quality of life problem. I could be wrong, but I feel that China looks down on America anyway. Maybe I have run into some bad apples, but Asian people can be down right rude & they act superior, when I seen them out in public, not when I go to their business

They [the Chinese] can only help themselves. The reason there are so few girls is that a few years back the government made it illegal for a family to have more than 2 children, so when they had a girl they would kill it so they could try again for a boy. Sounds, and is, morbid but it is the truth.

Americans should mind their own business. This is
China's problem, not ours. We don't need to get
involved. Many Americans have already adopted
Chinese children. That should help some.

Who cares?!...I have my own problems to worry about and quite frankly i'm tired of dealing with everyone else's.
If people don't want the illegal Hispanics that are here living their lives like they have been for generations what makes you think anyone cares about the problems in China? I say let them deal with it, if we don't they'll just find some way to blame USA for it, like everyone else.
