I got a traffic ticket for making an improprer left turn, is there anyway I can get this dimissed, what should i say to the officer?

Sometimes, in some areas, a person with a clean record can get it changed to just a warning. In other stricter area there is a zero tolerance and only ones who definitely are wrong would be stopped so there is always a ticket.

Unless the officer recognizes you as an old school friend it will be an uphill battle to not get a ticket.

Contact an attorney who will charge you double the fine or more to make a plea bargain with the city attorney who will then amend the ticket to a defective equipment ticket with no points on your license.

You should talk to the prosecutor about the facts surrounding the ticket. The prosecutor is the only one with authority to dismiss it.

Probably not. If you want to plead not guilty and take your chances on loosing a trial, go ahead, but I really doubt they are just going to dismiss the charge because you ask.
