I'm not, the sabbath and "holy days" are only a shadow of things in the future- the reality is Christ! Collossians 2 16, 17
Only by his blood can we be cleansed of our sins.

I was raised an Adventist, however, I left their beliefs about 8 years ago. I started reading the Bible and was startled to find many things I had believed were in Bible--were not. Worse...I found a lot of things in the Bible that directly oppose the teachings of the Adventist church.
After several years of studying I finally had the courage to leave...it was difficult....the indoctrination of Adventism (fear) runs very deep.
I have since embraced "grace". It's not the cheap grace that Adventist say it is!!! It demands humility....shame....it demands that you accept the fact that absolutely nothing you can do (Sabbath keeping, abstaining from foods, etc.) can add to the perfect work of Christ.
"It was for freedom that Christ set you free". Under grace we are free to serve HIM...not the law, not man....we are free to serve Christ, and Christ alone!!!

I have been reading adventist literature since a few years (since I discovered it) and I appreciate it a lot. I find SDA, the sect which follows and interpret the bible better than the rest and adventist people are great and friendly. Would be nice to know you better.

One of the Mormon (Latter-Day Saint) prophets said that Seventh-Day Adventists were the closest Church to having the truth of Christ (behind them, of course).
Adventists are very nice people. It's kind of funny that so many convert to LDS, but I guess that if they are so similar, it would make sense.
Good luck to you!

my dad grow to be a seventh day adventist and my grandfather grow to be a minister in the church. i wasn't raised in the church, besides the undeniable fact that. all i understand is they bypass to church on saturday, the sabbath starts at sunset on friday. they fairly take the sabbath heavily, like no paintings or worldly issues. i also understand they are fairly into healthy ingesting. dissimilar them are vegetarians and do not devour sugar or caffeine. that is all i study the denomination that stands proud compared to the others.
