My girl said she found an all-inclusive vacation package to jamaica and said that it we should take a vacation with just the two of us. She works, goes to school, and has a child and I thought she would want to spend time with just me, but then she asks her best friend to come along with us right in front of me without asking my input.

I told my girl that this made me irritated and she doesn't see why since were all friends. Am I wrong or shouldn't a romantic vacation only include the two people going out?

I think that you are right when taking a nice romantic vacation it should be just the two of you. But I am not her and have no idea what is going though her mind. Maybe she just didn't really think about it before she opened her mouth. When you get a chance try again to sit down and talk to her about it. Tell her what you told us that because she has so much going on in life that you thought a nice "romantic" vacation would give you guys some much needed time together and then go from there.

I think it should only include the two people, but obviously she is not looking at this vacation in the romantic way you are and she wants her friend to come along. I would be kinda upset but I would just talk to her about it and tell her how I felt without going overboard. You two will still have time to be alone with each other.

Ok, that was kind of messed up. If she wanted to invite her girlfriend, then she shouldn't have invited you. It doesn't make sense to invite her if it is supposed to be a "romantic vacation." If anything, her child she be brought along instead of her friend. But hey, this is just my opinion.....
