Last night I had some friends over and since it's so cold I let them smoke in the house. My bf comes in and says " open some windows the smell is making me sick". So I said your mother makes me sick but I don't go asking her to open her windows. Whats the big deal ?

no you didn't???? that was just wrong, honestly I smoke and if I smoke in the house I open the windows it does smell bad if you and a bunch of people are smoking in a room with no windows, you need fresh air in there, I gotta say you were really wrong with that comment about his mother.

I think it's not polite to make him have to breath air that he does not want to. Smoking is banned in just about all public spaces for a reason. He may have some allergy or problem with the smell of smoke. I think he made a resonable request.

Sorry, I don't care if it is Snowing and 20 Below. If someone wants to smoke at my house they must do it outside. You CAN'T get that smell out. I smoke Cigars every once in a blue Moon and do it on the front porch or elsewhere. Sorry

I think you are a bi tc h! smoke really does make you sick, you could have used something other than his mom as an example.
if you like second hand smoke, that's on you, but don't be jeopardizing someone Else's life because of a few dumb friends.and open the damn window!

LMAO ... okay he could have said it differently and you could have let them smoke in one room only and open the window.
No if your B/F is living with you, you may want to sit down and talk, if not its your home your rules and you need to tell him that his reaction was rude.

well i thought its funny because you dont like his mom, but he doesnt like it and its something u can choose.... hes not saying stop smoking, hes just saying open a window so the smell goes away thats all
