You're right about not worshiping a false idol, but the OT says that the Messiah would be God, therefore why wouldn't Jesus be God?? Only God can redeem sins.

The Bible says God is three in one. Father (God), Son (Jesus) and Spirit(Holy Ghost). If you read the Bible in the new testament (matthew ,luke or mark),Jesus says," I and the Father are one, If you have seen me then you have seen the Father". This proves that Jesus is God .
By the way salvation is personal . You will give an account of yourself on the last day.We are called to be spiritual not religious. Obviously a church where boys are being raped or killing people because they do not believe in God is not of God.Jesus wants us to accept Him by ourselves .We have the freedom to do that. So you need the read more of the Bible , the New Testament and ask God to reveal to you the meaning of His word. And remember the only way you can get into heaven is if you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life. The Bible applies to everybody even today and it is not just a story book. It gives guidelines on how we can leave our lives the way we should and enjoy all of God's special blessings. May God open up your heart so you can see His goodness.

According to the most of the Christian churches there are 3 parts to God. God the Father, God the son (Jesus) and God the Holy Ghost (spirit). Therefore, creating only one God.
By the way there was a lot of killing in the old testament.

I don't think you are correct.
"The dark lord would seem to be great and nice and godly to get everyone to believe he is god or the son of god thus makeing you break a comanment thus sending you to hell."
If "the dark lord" wanted everyone to follow him, and thus get them to go to hell, don't you think he'd of given the people what they expected?
Jews of the time expected the Messiah to be an earthly leader/ruler. They expected him to come an overthrow the romans and then all of Israel would be the rulers of the world.
Jesus taught to be a servant, not a ruler. This teaching does not a lot of followers make.

God is one person but he holds three offices the Father , the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I know that this sounds lame but it is true. Somebody asked Jesus what the Father looked like and Christ simply said, " if you have seen Me you have seen the Father ". These people in the church that did the bad things you say may have been in the church but were not men of God.

Wow. Have you already memorized by heart everything that Jesus has said, as recorded in the Bible? Have you already received the Holy Spirit's witness to you that Jesus promised he would send?
1.Have you already repented of your sins; admitted to them, asked for forgiveness, and asked God to help you not repeat them.
2.Have you already followed Jesus' instruction on how to be born again into a spirit of harmony;changed your justice system of thinking you have a right to hold a grudge, and have adopted a new justice system of forgiving others who have hurt you)
3. Has the Holy Spirit already witnessed to you that if you have been reborn into a forgiving spirit (and new personality), that you will go to Heaven?
When you have done all these things, then you might ask, "Is Jesus God, or Is Jesus the Son of God? Then again, maybe you would just smile and say, "Jesus, I love you no matter what, and please help me do your will."

So, you're jewish? Most jewish sects believe Jesus was a prophet, not the messiah.
The bible says that Jesus is part of the trinity. Jesus is God in the flesh. The holy spirit is God in spirit.
One thing to think about though, is that what if you're right and Christians are wrong? No harm, no foul. But what if we're right and you're wrong? Then we'd better pray for you.
Have a great day!
PS - Read "The Case for Christ" by Lee Stroeble. He was an atheast and proved Christ's existence.

You sound very Jewish to me. Are you? Well, first, Jesus and God are the same thing in Christian faith. God the father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all different faces of the same one God. And, regarding what priests or other Christians did before, not everybody that's Christian or even a clergy member is a saint. We know that. They are human, just like everybody else. They can be tempted and they can do mistakes and sin.

Interesting question, although not at all historically unique or novel. This is a heresy that has been sown from the earliest days of the church.
Is it possible that in repeating this heresy, you are being used as a tool of the enemy to sow seeds of doubt and unbelief among true believers, which the Bible defines as those who place the hope and trust in Jesus Christ?
I do want to sincerely thank you for acknowledging at the end of your post your unbelief in Jesus, and for that I will pray for your eyes to be opened and for the salvation of your eternal soul.
Best to you.

Jesus is the only way to God. Ever thought about that. You can't get to God without going through His Son. So if that is true, how do you get to God? Plus they are one, crazy for someone like you to imagine, I know. So how does that make it a false god again......
